A new noise, a heavier door, rust, or just a while since the last look. That gives us a first idea.

Springs, cables, drums, rollers, hinges, tracks and fasteners, then the balance, weather seal, and the opener’s safety reverse and sensors. Moving parts get lubricant where the manufacturer calls for it.

If the check turns up a worn spring, a frayed cable or a cracked roller, you hear what it is and the exact price. Estimates are free.

Chamberlain’s guidance is a garage door lubricant on the rollers, bearings and hinges about once a year, excess wiped off, and none on the tracks. DASMA says regular lubrication of the springs, as the door maker specifies, helps them last.
What you can check between visits
Once a month, look for damage or loose parts and keep the tracks clear. Then test the safety reverse: lay a 2x4 flat under the open door and close it, standing clear. It should reverse on contact. If not, stop using the opener and call us.
What to leave alone
The springs, cables and bottom brackets are under extreme tension. DASMA says only a trained technician should handle them, and Chamberlain says never to loosen, move or adjust them. We service and install the brands below.
