Built for what South Florida wind actually requires
Broward County sits inside Florida’s High-Velocity Hurricane Zone. Palm Beach County sits in the Wind-Borne Debris Region instead. The two are related but separate sets of rules, with different requirements for a garage door.

Why did my garage door spring break?
A standard torsion spring is rated for about 10,000 cycles. That’s roughly 3 to 10 years of normal use, less on a door opened many times a day.
Do you charge extra for nights or weekends?
We don’t publish prices, but the price we quote is the price you pay, whatever time we come out.
Do you install doors and openers, or only repair them?
Both: new doors and openers as well as repairs, on Craftsman, Chamberlain, LiftMaster, Genie, Amarr, Clopay and Northwest Door hardware.
Do I need a permit to replace a garage door in Florida?
In most of Broward and Palm Beach County, yes. Palm Beach County’s own brochure carves overhead doors out of its no-permit list. Boca Raton offers a same-day, over-the-counter permit instead.
